Surrey Heath Borough Council is conducting a survey of residents’ views on potential changes to local government, including the establishment of new parishes, including Heatherside, as more local organisations than the planned West Surrey Unitary Council.
The Council is asking for responses to the survey by 26th January.
To help residents to understand the pros and cons, your local councillors will be holding a meeting at Heatherside Community Centre, Martindale Avenue, in collaboration with the Heatherside Ward Residents Association. To make sure we have the right facilities, we are asking if interested residents would register using this form.
The meeting is planned for 7:30pm in the meeting rooms of the Community Centre, although the start may be delayed if there is a big response and we need to switch to the hall.
